The Brownsville Fire Co, Inc was incorporated in 1912 to protect the Brownsville community from fire. The organization took over the disbanded equipment of the Brownsville Hook & Ladder Company which had served the Brownsville area since 1891. The first engine purchased was a used Goose Neck Pumper from Chicago.
The Brownsville Fire Company contracts for fire protection and First Responder services with the Village of Brownsville, The Township of Lomira, The Township of LeRoy, and the Township of Byron in Fond du Lac County.
The Brownsville Fire Company is a proud member of the Dodge County Fire Chief’s Association, Fond du Lac County Fire Chief’s Association, MABAS Division 129, Dodge County Firefighters Association, and the Dodge County EMS Association and Fond du Lac County EMS Association.
